Hi, I’m Asha

The gap: before you go, and after you are back

Most retreat centres hand you a life-changing experience and very little else. You fly home, life resumes, and the insight that felt so clear in the maloca starts to blur. Or you go in without the capacity to meet what comes up, and the experience does more harm than good. That gap, on both sides of the experience, is where I work. Does this sound like you?

  • You have tried therapy, and maybe medication, and the change you wanted never quite arrived.
  • You are drawn to plant medicine, and another part of you is afraid of what it might surface.
  • You sat in ceremony and came home feeling worse, or with insights that faded within weeks.

These are the people I work with. If the ceremony is ahead of you, start with preparation. If it is behind you, start with integration. And if right now feels heavy, I wrote this guide for exactly this moment.

How we work together

Preparation, the experience itself, integration: one continuous piece of work, not three separate services. We clarify intentions, steady your nervous system and work with the fear before; afterwards we turn what happened into a life that is actually different. Three doors into that room, each page explains who it is for and what to expect.

Psychedelic preparation & integration

Two halves of one piece of work. What you do in the weeks before an experience decides how safe it is, and what you do in the months after decides whether it changes anything.

Trauma-informed psychotherapy

Trauma is not only a memory. It lives in how your body braces, scans and shuts down. Therapy that ignores the body asks half of you to do all the work.

Group work & programs

Some healing happens one to one. Some happens in a room with people who get it, where you do not have to explain yourself first.

Why people work with me

Science and tradition in the same person: clinical training, and years spent inside the ceremonies themselves, on both sides of the circle.

  • A clinician, with a warrant

Warranted psychotherapist specialising in complex trauma and nervous system regulation: Master's in Gestalt psychotherapy, MBCT, psychedelic harm reduction and integration.

  • I have sat in the medicine, not only studied it

Trained with the Shipibo in the Peruvian Amazon, four master plant diets, five Vision Quests in Mexico, five years alongside ceremonial spaces in Peru and Mexico. You will not have to explain the territory to me.

  • Online, across time zones

I have worked online for years, with clients in the US, Canada and Europe. Depth does not depend on sharing a room.

  • Clear boundaries

I do not provide or recommend substances, and I do not promise healing. Preparation, integration, education and harm reduction: that is the work.

In their words

“I've been working with Asha for about a year and half now and I can honestly say (having worked with many therapists over the years) that she has completely transformed the way I think and feel about things in the most positive and profound way.”

Emily WooA year and a half of 1:1 therapy

“Do not be disheartened that Asha provides therapy through online sessions. Her intuition and insight is amazing. She could even detect if I am not breathing properly and would tell me there and then “don't forget to breathe”! … I felt totally comfortable and in sync with her because as a professional she is trustworthy and non judgemental.”
